Ready to go.........AGAIN!

7:30 am Abby with the Anesthesiologist team that will be assisting with her shunt surgery.

It's 9am and we're in waiting room. Abby is having her surgery right now and we haven't received any word from the operating room yet. I wish you all could have seen her this morning. She was sooooooooo very happy and cheerful. She was giving out love to any and everyone we passed on the way back to surgery. Even though we've only had Abby about 6 weeks, she is so trusting. She never complains and always smiles and encourages US! She is a shining example of how trusting we should be with our Heavenly Father. We don't always understand the "why" but we just have to trust that He is doing what is best for us.

I will bless the Lord at ALL TIMES! His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Good morning guys,
FYI - Jelly Bean sure wishes she was there with you today. Hopefully, she will see you tomorrow. Prayers go out to all. What a blessing of faith and courage you guys are showing everyone that loves and knows you. Know that you are not alone. Our Heavenly Father is holding your hand and holding you up when you feel like falling to your knees.

I can't ever say I've agreed with a clown before, but Jelly Bean is right. You BOTH are a true witness to everyone at UAB and here on the blog of what real faith is. You know, you never know what your faith is made of until you go through trials and hard times. I'm sure our Heavenly Father is right there beside you smiling at how unwavering your trust in Him has been and continues to be. Thank you for being so transparent with us and allowing us to be there with you through the blog. What as beautiful testimony you are! I am so blessed to call you my friends! Even though we can't be there in person, our love, thoughts and prayers are with you daily. Love Gary, Peppi, Kenny & Dalton

Abby triumphs again! That's one amazing girl you've got. I hope that people will praise God when they hear her story.
