Abby's Eating!

We are giving God the glory! Abby was able to eat roasted chicken and mashed potatoes for her dinner tonight and she kept it down. Many of you out there know that Abby has had a difficult few days since her surgery. Today was the most heartbreaking because she felt so bad that she would not respond verbally to us. She wasn't even able to play Patty-Cake or Peep-Eye.

In the last 2 days she has not held down any food or drink and has gotten very weak. BUT......we are happy to say that she has made tremendous strides this afternoon! She has been able to hold down 2 small meals today.

We still need prayer because her bladder has still not "woke up" from the surgery and she is having to be catheterized every 3 hours....not fun to have your sleep disturbed for that! But she is still our little trooper and we are standing in faith for full recovery and function. Please keep the prayer coming!

Greetings Michael & Jawanna. This is Kendrick Bell posting from Illinois. I received word about Abby's illness through Coach Arenas. It is wonderful to read that Abby is getting better everyday. She's a very beautiful child. Keep your heads up and we will continue to pray for a %100 recovery for little Abby.

Sincerely,
Kendrick D. Bell
