Everything has went fine today. We have had a much better day than yesterday. Jawanna's parents came up a day early for Abby's surgery, and we have thoroughly enjoyed having them here. Abby is just crazy about both of them and they all do a good job of entertaining each other.
A new development......Abby has been begging for us to hold her for days. And I don't mean laying her across a pillow in our lap. She wants a "bear hug" chest-to-chest. Today, even though we were kinda afraid to try it (she still cannot be vertical at all because of the spinal fluid), we finally gave our baby what she wanted so much. And it made the day SO MUCH BETTER for both Abby and Jawanna. The picture below speaks for itself!

I love it. Our babies always need us to hold and love them no matter how old they get.

I'm so glad you were able to give that special touch to Abby, but I know one needed it as much as the other. Nothing the world offers can replace love.

This is Ashley from church, I'm glad to hear the surgery went okay last week.. We really wanted to call but didn't have a number. She looks so good despite what she's been through. We'll be praying that everything goes really good tomorrow. :) She seems to be a very strong little girl.
Hey Jawanna and Michael! Your baby is precious!! I am so happy for you. Your family is beautiful. Isn't it wonderful to know that Jesus' name is above all names, even the name of this condition and that in His name Abby is made whole. Praise God.
