Our appointment at the Office of Civil Affairs was at 9am today. Everything went very smooth and ended up taking about 45 minutes less than expected. All of the Chinese officials were so nice and asked us to update them after Abby has her surgery. The WuWei babies receive excellent care and it has been obvious to us from the moment we saw our Abby that she was cherished and loved.
On the way out of the building we were in the elevator with several Chinese men. They were making over Abby but we didn't know what they were saying. Our guide, Steed, told us that they all thought Abby looked just like Michael. Boy, did his head swell!!!! But they also said it was good of us to adopt this baby. If they only knew how fortunate and blessed we are to have her! This sweet baby is the answer to many years of tears and prayers.

Just wanted to stop by and say congratulations! We are also blessed with a Wuwei baby girl and she has done beautifully as well!
